Andrew is a missionary, teacher, and communicator with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and the University of the Nations. For over nine years, Andrew has been devoted to equipping and mobilizing young people into global missions. Based in Vancouver, Canada, he serves as a Biblical Studies teacher and leads the communications department at YWAM Vancouver. His mission is to disciple the next generation with a solid foundation in God’s Word, empowering them to live out the Gospel in every sphere of society. With a heart for practical service and cross-cultural outreach, Andrew’s vision is to see lives transformed, communities reached, and nations impacted by the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
Angel is a licensed mental health therapist and group practice owner who is passionate about integrating emotional health and Christian discipleship. She founded her practice to empower clients, clinicians, and ministry leaders to pursue lasting wellness and wholehearted lives. Angel is especially committed to helping believers, particularly LGBTQ+/SSA Christians, grow into resilient, faithful followers of Jesus through counseling, mentoring, and discipleship-focused care.
Jessica Pafumi serves as InterVarsity’s Associate National Director of Discipleship & Leadership, equipping leaders nationwide at the intersection of mission, discipleship, and leadership. With over 14 years of ministry experience, she is passionate about developing emerging leaders, cultivating diverse communities of belonging, and fostering Christ-centered hospitality on campus and beyond. She holds a master’s degree in Global Leadership: Missiology from Fuller Seminary.
Since 2019, Jessica has also served as InterVarsity’s first Human Sexuality Resource Specialist, co-creating The Big Story of Human Sexuality online course with Greg Coles. She also trains leaders to engage LGBTQ+/SSA ministry with a missiological, compassionate approach. Outside ministry, Jess enjoys snowboarding, rock climbing, and traveling cross-country in her Airstream with her Aussiedoodle, Maple, aiming to visit all 63 national parks.
Carolyn Schultz-Rathbun is a writer, editor, speaker, and political activist who has spent the last 6½ years learning to live with physical and neurocognitive disability as a result of Long COVID. Passionate about encouraging people to marinate in the Scriptures, pray honestly and often, and practice gratitude, wonder, and hope, she has been teaching the Bible for over 50 years, mentoring people spiritually for over 40, and shepherding a house church for over 30. Carrie helps admin A Side B Community, a private online community of over 700 LGBTQ+ Christians, and co-leads Harbor, a Revoice community group for young LGBTQ+ adults. A lesbian and gender minority, Carrie has been married to the only boy she ever dated for 47 years.
Isaac Moore is an Associate Pastor at New Frontiers Church in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, where he has served on the leadership team since 2020. He is deeply committed to the local church as a place of spiritual formation, belonging, and mission, and is passionate about cultivating communities that reflect the grace and hospitality of Jesus. Isaac has a particular heart for mission and for building bridges with those outside the church, especially those who have been wounded by it. He envisions a future in which sexual and gender minorities are fully seen, valued, and meaningfully included in the life of the Church, and is committed to helping people discern faithful, hopeful paths of discipleship within the body of Christ.
Sister Heather Kristine is a vowed member of the Order of the Common Life and a spiritual director who works with individuals discerning vocation, identity, and faithful ways of life. She has spent the past several years studying celibacy, formation, and discernment, with a particular focus on helping LGBTQ+/SSA Christians develop a deeper and more sustainable vision of love rooted in union with God. Drawing from Scripture, the monastic tradition, and her own lived experience, she develops formation resources that integrate spiritual direction, emotional healing, and theological reflection. Heather is especially passionate about casting a vision for consecrated celibacy that is so beautiful and compelling that people will actually pray for this gift instead of dreading the possibility.
Bekah lives in New Hampshire and serves as the Head of Operations for a multi-congregation church, where she helps shape strategy, systems, and day-to-day ministry across three locations. She’s been in this role for the past year and a half, and has been part of a local church leadership team for the last five years.
A regular preacher, Bekah is passionate about creating spaces where people can encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and build real community. Before stepping into ministry leadership, she worked in education and holds degrees and licensure in elementary education, English as a second language, and literacy instruction.
Born in the UK and raised in the US, Bekah brings a cross-cultural perspective to her work and relationships. Outside of work, she loves skiing, reading, being outdoors, and building community.
Tyler Parker is a campus minister at Harvard College and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He studied government and filmmaking at Harvard for undergraduate students. He is a follower of Jesus, is bisexual, and is filled with a deep passion for LGBTQ+ people to experience the lives of flourishing that are borne out of radical encounters with the love of Christ. He also helps lead a growing Revoice chapter in the Greater Boston area and serves on staff at Aletheia Church, Cambridge.
Laura's session shares a personal testimony about discerning marriage and navigating a mixed-orientation marriage. It will explore both the challenges and the unique gifts such marriages can bring.
Peter and Fevronia are Orthodox Christians who have been married for eight years. Fevronia identifies as straight, and Peter uses either gay or same-sex attracted to describe his experience depending on the audience. Together they parent four children, work in health care, and enjoy crossword puzzles and amateur bird watching. In addition to their involvement in their local Revoice chapter, they have advocated for appropriate medical care for celibate and married Side B Christians. They seek to shed light on the blessings and challenges of pursuing Christ through the vocation of marriage while concurrently supporting all those who share a minority experience of sexuality and are committed to a traditional sexual ethic, regardless of vocation.
Mark's session explores the often-overlooked experiences of bisexual and pansexual Christians, including the unique challenges of belonging within both LGBTQ and church communities. It will raise awareness of these dynamics and offer practical guidance and resources for bisexual believers seeking to follow Jesus faithfully.
Susan Coleman has a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies and serves part-time at her church. Though Biblical Studies is her jam, she feels a strong pull towards discipleship and spiritual formation in local church contexts. She is a wanna-be-runner, enjoys good food and loves to read.
Isaac's panel explores how sexual and gender minorities can thoughtfully share their stories in different contexts and with different audiences. Participants will discuss ways to tell their stories in safe, healing, and transformative ways.
Ashe lives in New Jersey in a house of lovely queer folks and one cat. They have been in a platonic partnership with their partner Lindsey for ten years. Ashe cares deeply about building spaces for communities to grow so that we all can find places of safety and belonging. Currently they are a student studying horticulture and landscaping with the hopes of helping others find joy in nature. In her free time, Ashe can be found playing Legend of Zelda, DnD with friends, reading, and attempting to learn woodcarving.
Carter Doyle is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Leaf Psychiatry, an outpatient practice centered on therapy-forward, integrative care. His work includes supporting sexual and gender minorities as they navigate identity, faith, and meaning, with a focus on helping patients find internal congruence across desire, belief, and identity. He integrates medication management with evidence-based psychotherapy, including Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Carter’s background in emergency nursing and paramedicine shapes his steady, person-centered approach to complex clinical situations. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Wayne State University, where his research examines how linguistic framing shapes experiences of sexual orientation and gender identity change efforts. He teaches and speaks nationally on psychotherapy integration in psychiatric care.
Brandon Dunkley is a minister and educator committed to sharing God’s unfailing love, abiding presence, and transforming power. He holds a Master of Education from the University at Buffalo and a Master of Divinity from Drew University, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education at NYU. Brandon’s research explores the role of the Black Church in the self-authorship and faith development of Black, Christian young adults.
Professionally, Brandon serves as the Special Advisor for Spiritual Life Education and Outreach at New York University. Additionally, he’s served in ministry roles across five denominational contexts and recently launched Brandon Dunkley, LLC to support Christians and ministries through challenging transitions. In November 2021, he married his incredible wife, Rachel, and they live in New York City. They are currently deliberating which dog breed to adopt for their NYC apartment. Suggestions are welcome!
Steve Mwendia is a Kenyan Christian who experiences same-sex attraction. Steve founded a ministry called “Found” that aims to walk alongside believers experiencing same-sex orientation and/or gender dysphoria, helping them flourish in their faith, identity, and community. Maysa serves as a Co-Lead for the Revoice Twin Cities chapter, where she helps create spaces for honest conversation and faithful engagement. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Northwestern, with a comprehensive core curriculum in Biblical Studies and Theology. Maysa is passionate about helping Christians find language to name painful experiences with clarity and integrity. She emphasizes careful listening and curiosity, holding Scripture and personal experience together, to guide hard conversations back toward Christ.
Jean Coles (mother of Greg Coles and joyful advocate and intercessor for Revoice) passionately desires to see God bring lasting Kingdom breakthroughs to His people. Through Wholeness Prayer (birthed during her 24 years in Southeast Asia), these God-breathed victories have become a consistent reality in her life and are overflowing into the lives and ministries of many others. She is Beyond's (beyond.org) Director of Prayer Strategy, author of Becoming Whole, and founder of Freedom for the Captives Ministries (freemin.org).
Brooke Dennis is a pre-licensed mental health counselor/drama therapist with a Master of Theatre with a concentration in Drama Therapy from Kansas State University. Her primary populations she works with are kids 10-16 and the LGBTQ+ community across the lifespan, particularly around questions of how to integrate faith, gender, and sexuality. She particularly specializes in the use of tabletop roleplaying games as a therapeutic intervention and loves the role card sort as a method of understanding ourselves, our obstacles, and our support system.
Peter is a coffee connoisseur and a croissant amateur. He is a head coffee roaster and barista by day and a reader and songwriter by night… or very early morning to be more accurate. He lived in Sydney Australia for four years where he took songwriting classes and made many cherished friendships.
Destin's session introduces the principles of Wholeness Prayer and how it can bring freedom from spiritual and emotional burdens. Participants will learn practical ways to invite God into everyday life, pursue healing, and grow in discipleship.
Ellen's session shares a family's journey of maintaining a loving relationship with their transgender daughter after she came out. Through their story and practical insights, it offers guidance for parents seeking to respond with grace, faith, and enduring love.
Dr. Julia Sadusky is a licensed clinical psychologist and the owner of a private practice in Littleton, CO. She is also an author, consultant, speaker, and adjunct professor. Dr. Sadusky has done extensive research and clinical work in sexual and gender development and specializes in trauma-informed care. She earned a bachelor's degree from Ave Maria University and a master's degree and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Regent University. She has authored several books around human sexuality, with her most recent two-book series entitled, "Start Talking to Your Kids about Sex: A Practical Guide for Catholics" (Ave Maria Press, 2023) and "Talking with Your Teen about Sex: A Practical Guide for Catholics" (Ave Maria Press, 2024).
Raised along the Pacific Rim (Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan), Barnabas has over a decade of ministry experience (with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship) which drove him to investigate theologies and philosophies undergirding ministry. While Barney holds an MDiv and is finishing a PhD in Theology & Bible at Fuller Theological Seminary, he is a practitioner at heart, continuously motivated by the pastoral needs and gifts of people at the margins. Barnabas has directed various national conferences for Christian ministers and college students and led numerous cohorts on theology and recovering the Bible for wise living. You can find him singing in a local gospel choir, sipping on a cup of light-roast pour-over coffee, baking sourdough, organizing Singing Resistance in Pasadena, but mainly spending a lot of time wondering how Christianity can be rehabilitated to be again the loving presence of Jesus in a world understandably at war.
Taka, raised on his grandpa's cattle farm in Hawaiʻi, has spent 19 years with a Christian campus ministry learning about balancing humility and strength, justice and grace. A food enthusiast who loves dim sum, shawarma, tacos, and various soups, Taka serves on his organization's LGBTQ+/SSA Employee Resource Group and leads training for campus ministers on LGBTQ+ engagement. An Enneagram 6 and ESFP/J, he embraces complexity and connection. He enjoys gardening, cooking for large groups of people, and taking classes at the Y with a bunch of grandmas.
Jesse is a counselor, barista of eleven years, and a missionary passionate about blending faith and mental health together in a holistic way. Though they were recently expelled from an SBC seminary and unable to complete their counseling degree at this time, Jesse has five years of academic counseling knowledge and over two hundred individual and relational counseling hours with clients. Jesse will be starting with Kairos University to complete their degree next year and will be partnering with Kaleidoscope in NYC this fall to continue pursuing counseling and missions towards the LGBTQIA+ community.
