Penny Armbruster

Penny Armbruster serves as Director of Organizational Care and Philanthropy at Revoice, where she brings decades of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and organizational development. Her work focuses on strengthening donor relationships, supporting staff well-being, and building healthy systems that allow Revoice’s mission to be carried forward with integrity, care, and long-term sustainability.

Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Penny began her career in international human resources, working across Europe and the United States. She met her husband, Larry, while working in Germany, and their life together has been shaped by cross-cultural experience, faith, and service. They now live in Michigan.

Prior to joining Revoice, Penny served in executive leadership for many years at a maternal and infant health nonprofit, guiding the organization through significant growth in funding, staff capacity, and institutional maturity. Her leadership emphasized relational donor engagement, ethical stewardship, and the development of systems that support people as well as mission.

In addition to her role at Revoice, Penny is the founder of The Fig Tree Group, where she partners with early-stage and growing nonprofits to strengthen fundraising practices, organizational health, and leadership clarity. Penny and Larry are parents to four adult children and value community, hospitality, and faith-rooted service.
