In keeping with this year’s theme, By Faith, these conversations explore what it looks like to live out faith in specific relationships and contexts—seeking to embody trust, love, and faithfulness in everyday life.

Pre-conferences are an important part of the Revoice experience, with a clear focus on equipping our community. These gatherings are made possible through partnerships with trusted community partners and offer more focused, intimate spaces for deeper learning and conversation. Each pre-conference invites participants to engage with specific topics in greater depth and through live interaction ahead of the main conference.

Posture Shift is a ministry that equips churches and leaders to faithfully honor God while loving LGBTQ+ people well. They offer biblically grounded guidance to help families and communities grow in understanding and care.

FAMILIES ARE MADE FOR LOVE

Led by Posture Shift

A Conversation on Honoring LGBTQ+ Loved Ones in the Family

Families are made for love. When parents and their LGBTQ+/SSA loved ones learn to engage one another with honesty and grace, it can reflect something deeply meaningful about the nature of family. This kind of relationship takes intentional care, mutual understanding, and a willingness to extend forgiveness—but the fruit can be deeply good.

At this year’s Posture Shift Pre-conference, we will host a panel of parents and LGBTQ+/SSA individuals who will share how they have learned to navigate these relationships faithfully within their families. Through honest stories and practical insight, this conversation will offer encouragement for those seeking to love one another well.

THE LIVING CLOUD: A REVOICE WOMEN’S GATHERING

Free Event* facilitated by Janelle Look of Revoice

For the first time ever, we are having a women’s pre-conference! At Revoice, we often speak of the “cloud of witnesses”: those who have gone before us by faith. The Living Cloud pre-conference brings that idea into the present, creating a space where same-sex attracted women and those assigned female at birth (AFAB)* can hear stories from our community of God’s work.

Together, we’ll listen to one another’s stories, reflect on what it means to follow Jesus as sexual minority women, and build friendships that bridge differences across seasons of life, backgrounds, and experiences.

Whether you are single or married, new to Revoice or have been part of this community for years, you are invited to join us. Through guided conversation and time together, we hope this gathering becomes a meaningful starting point for deeper connection for the women within the Revoice community.

THRIVE IN CELIBACY | THROUGH HARDSHIP & VICTORY

Facilitated by Jessica Pafumi

After a meaningful and well-received pre-conference at the Revoice25 Conference, we’re excited to offer this gathering again, this time with more space for panel discussion, questions, and deeper engagement.

Celibacy is often misunderstood, yet it is both a meaningful and life-giving vocation. This pre-conference invites single and celibate LGBTQ+/SSA Christians into an honest and hopeful space where both struggle and victory are acknowledged and held together.

Led by Jessica Pafumi and Colton Beach, with guest speaker David Bennett on the panel, this gathering brings together teaching, personal stories, and practical wisdom and tools to support you in following Jesus faithfully in celibacy. Together, we’ll explore what it looks like to grow in hope, make everyday decisions with intention, and recognize God’s presence along the way.

Come be encouraged, equipped, and reminded—you are not alone on this calling.
